Edabo- Good bye.

Eeen - Yes.

Eho- No

awi, cuku, koklo, gbo, gnibu, xwevi, agluza- Cat, dog, chicken, goat, cow, fish, pig (notice the onomatopoeia for cat, chicken, and cow), 

Kekeno, nusato, bociokpato, atinkpato, azomevi, glegan- Zemijan driver, seller of goods (literally- "thing seller," sculptor, carpenter, student, farmer.

Monto.  Montokunto.  Montokuntoce.- Car, Driver  (chauffeur), My chauffeur

Jimaklpon- Literally means Badly Educated but beware this is a swear word!  This is as bad as it gets believe it or not.  By calling someone badly educated you are saying that the person has no manners and you are insulting their whole family because they are responsible for their upbringing.  This is a "Fighting word."

xolan- Agouti or bush rat.

Na du wõ, kpo wõ vovo, kpo molikun, kpo abobo, kpo na nu sin kpede.   I'm going to eat pâte, red pâte, rice, beans, and I'm going to drink a little water.    is corn flour and water paste which is their staple food and is called pâte (paste) in French.  It  is pronounced like "pot" in English... so don't be alarmed when you are offered "pot" in Benin.
