This is my neighbor and good friend Nestor with my dog Wafi.  I named him and Wafi means "Come here" in Fon.  My neighbors thought I was a bit loony for naming him that but they got used to it after a while.

C'est mon voisin et bon ami Nestor avec mon chien Wafi.  Je lui ai nommé et Wafi veut dire "Viens ici" en Fon.  Mes voisins pensaient que j'étais un peu bécasse de lui avoir donné ce nom, mais après un peu de temps ils y se sont habitués.
