My Favorite Benin Related Books & Music Offered by Amazon.com:

When you search for "Benin" on Amazon.com, you get 280 results! Many of the books are out of print, unavailable, or are in different languages, but there are many great one to choose from. Many are recent (published in the last few years too!) Below are my favorite Benin related books. I have not read all of them but they are the ones that I've heard about and feel are the most interesting. If Amazon lists the book but doesn't have it as available or you don't want to buy, try your local library system to find it. I have found many of these books through the inter-library loan system.
If you see books that refer to the "Benin Kingdom" realize that they are are about a region that is located in what is South Eastern Nigeria today, not Benin the country. For more info on the Benin Kingdom, click here.
